- 1 package gluten-free instant vanilla pudding mix 3.4 oz
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- ½ cup milk or almond milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon almond extract optional
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips or your favorite gluten-free mix-ins optional
For the Cream Cheese Frosting
- 8 oz cream cheese softened
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar sifted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream or milk optional, for consistency
